Directions
About 45 kilometers south of St. John’s on The Irish Loop, Southern Shore lies three adjacent settlements which together comprise the community of Burnt Cove – St. Michael’s – Bauline.
From St. John’s:
- Take Route 2 (Pitt’s Memorial Drive)
- Take Exit 3 towards Commonwealth Ave.
- Turn left onto Heavy Tree Road/Route 3 South towards the town of the Goulds.
- After 9.7 kms, Route 3 will turn into Route 10 Southern Shore Highway.
- Follow HWY 10 south through Bay Bulls, through Witless Bay, through Tors Cove.
- Approximately 1.6 kilometers south of Tors Cove, turn left towards Bauline. There is an ATV repair shop on the corner – Melvin’s.
From Trans-Canada Highway (HWY 1) – traveling towards St. John’s:
- Turn onto to HWY 13 from the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH) towards HWY 10.
- Turn right onto HWY 10
- Follow HWY 10 south through Bay Bulls, through Witless Bay, through Tors Cove.
- Approximately 1.6 kilometers south of Tors Cove, turn left towards Bauline. There is an ATV repair shop on the corner – Melvin’s.
