Unlike massive, crowded tour ships, our vessel accommodates an intimate group of just 10 passengers. This means everyone gets a front-row, unobstructed view of the puffins and whales without fighting for a spot at the railing. It also allows our captain to easily converse with you, answer your questions, and maneuver closer to the action for incredible photo opportunities.
The North Atlantic breeze can be quite chilly—even on warm, sunny summer days! To stay comfortable out on the water, we recommend dressing in layers and bringing along a windproof jacket or sweater.

Your safety is our absolute priority. We provide standard life jackets and all necessary safety gear for every passenger on board. Please note that we will host a brief Marine Safety presentation at the dock immediately before departure.
Because passenger safety is our absolute priority, marine tours are strictly subject to weather and sea conditions. Great Island Boat Tours reserves the exclusive right to cancel any sailing due to rough seas, heavy fog, or high winds. If your tour is canceled by the Captain, you will receive the option to reschedule or get a 100% full refund.
Passenger Cancellations: Cancellations made by clients more than 48 hours prior to departure will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, or failure to arrive (No-Shows), are strictly non-refundable.
